Use the Dashboard and Church Security News
Review current activity, open the underlying records, and read your church’s configured news feed.
Dashboard on the web and Android, or Home on iPhone, summarizes the information available to your account. Cards depend on church features, campus, permissions and app version. Open the underlying record before taking action on a summary.
Check the church and campus
Confirm the church and the campus selector where available. In the web app, the operational campus selector is in the shared header. A campus choice filters accessible information; it does not grant access to another campus. Some actions require a specific campus instead of All Campuses.
Use the operational cards
- Assigned-shift cards provide the available check-in action when scheduling, attendance and participation access allow it. Accepting a shift or reading a reminder does not check you in.
- Checked-out equipment cards help you open or return the right item. Confirm the recorded checkout and wait for success.
- Checklist cards open recent or in-progress work. Updated native builds can show today's service-day checklists, with Start, Continue or View for each service. The web Dashboard can still show Recent Checklist.
- Incident and BOLO summaries reflect the records your account can access. Archived records are excluded from active awareness; campus, role, sensitive-record and BOLO audience restrictions still apply.
- Team Notices contains church announcements and activity links. Open the full notice or linked event for instructions and any required response.
Read Church Security News
When your church has a news feed available, find Church Security News near the bottom of the dashboard. Review the publisher and date, then select a story to open its reader. Some stories have an incident-type icon; it describes that news story, not an incident reported by your church.
On the web, Newer news and Older news move through the available pages. Native news lists can scroll within the card to reach more stories. Close the reader to return to the dashboard, or use an offered source link to open the publisher in a browser.
The feed is separate from Team Notices, your church's incident database and urgent operational communication. Loading, unavailable or empty states can reflect the configured source or connection. Refresh and check later; do not create an incident report merely to reproduce a news story.
If a card is missing or out of date
Confirm the church, campus, connection and permissions. Refresh or reopen the screen; on mobile, returning to the foreground can refresh it. A saved or cached summary can be older than the current record. Ask an administrator about a missing feature and use the relevant full page to verify an uncertain update.
